Drawing the users' attention to which shape has the information

Hi

I am constructing a flow chart (say on page 1) and on some of the shapes I
need the user to click on them so that they are able to obtain more
information. The additional information will be contained on page 2 within a
number of document shapes. So I have been looking at using hyperlinks which
works ok other than I do not know how to draw the users' attention to which
shape has the information. I know and have tested out the facility for
selecting an area of the page but this is no good unless I can highlight the
shape. I would need this facility to work in full screen mode as well as the
construction mode.

Any help would be appreciated

PS
I am using VISIO Professional 2003

How about just setting a different fill or line colour on those
shapes?

Thank you for your reply.

I should have added that when I click on a shape on page 1 and the hyperlink
goes off to page 2 it is the target shape on page 2 that I need to draw the
users' attention to. So that when the user is faced with a full screen mode
their eye is drawn to the document shape with the information in it.

If the hyperlink specifies the page and the shape then the shape will
be centered on the screen, with a suitable zoom setting you can
probably make the shape obvious.

Thank you for the additional idea.
The hyperlink does specify the page and the shape, however as this is the
first project I have undertaken with VISIO, could you provide me with
guidance on how I would programme the hyperlink so that I can use the Zoom
settings to made the shape obvious

When you create the hyperlink with menu Insert -> Hyperlink
use the Browse on the Sub-address and you will be asked for the zoom
level.

Hi
Your Zoom idea looks good. What would make it even better would be if as
part of the hyperlink I could set say Red as the fill or line colour of the
shape as well as the Zoom. Could this be done in the Extrainfo cell of the
shape sheet? If so what would the syntax be? I have had a look a round on
the net but can't find any information on the subject.

Thank you for the interest in my problem.
