Drawing toolbar freezes software

Hello,

I use MS Excel X on an iMac G5 with 1.25 GB of memory. Whenever I
press on the DRAWING TOOLBAR ICON or MENU in the drop down menu, the
software freeezes and the coloured ball spins until I force quit the
app. Have any clue to this problem ????
