Drawing Toolbar is making Word crash.

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Whenever I go to view, Toolbars and then click on drawing, it always crashes. I have the new update but it still just stays frozen when i click on it and I have to restart Word. Does anyone know how to fix this?

That suggests a damaged preferences/.plist file. Try what's recommended here

I'm sorry but I completely suck when it comes to this. I can find the library folder but I can't find the files I am supposed to be deleting.

The most likely is:

~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.Word.plist

Where ~ means whatever your User Name or Home Folder. The Library folder is
within it & the Preferences folder within that. The name of the file in that
folder is com.microsoft.Word.plist - just delete that file while no Office
programs are running, then launch Word. Word will build a new one (so it
will take a moment longer to start up) which should fix the problem. If not
come back & let us know - we'll do some more surgery
