Drawing Tools in a Word Documents with Protected and Unprotected Sections

Josh

Good day

I have a word document which requires certain sections to be password protected. I have found that the drawing tools (line, arrow, circle, etc.) are unavailable to use in the unprotected sections. Likewise, when I paste a drawing from another Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document, I am unable to manipulate (resize, move, or even delete) the drawing after it has been pasted into an unprotected section. Is there anything that can be done to make the drawing tools functional in the unprotected sections? Is there anything that can be done to allow manipulation of drawings pasted into the unprotected section from another document

Thanks

Josh

Hi =?Utf-8?B?Sm9zaA==?=,
I have a word document which requires certain sections to be password
protected. I have found that the drawing tools (line, arrow, circle,
etc.) are unavailable to use in the unprotected sections. Likewise, when
I paste a drawing from another Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document, I am
unable to manipulate (resize, move, or even delete) the drawing after it
has been pasted into an unprotected section. Is there anything that can
be done to make the drawing tools functional in the unprotected sections?
Is there anything that can be done to allow manipulation of drawings
pasted into the unprotected section from another document? No, and no. Closest you could get with the drawings coming from outside
the document would be to be sure to paste them in a graphics file format
(IOW not as a Drawing object) and inline with the text (no text wrap
formatting). As such, they can be resized. If you need text wrap, insert
them into a FRAME from the Forms toolbar, as that has text wrap
capabilities AND is available in an unprotected section.
