Drawings not printing

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have a file containing multiple pages. There are some drawings on the second page.
Now, there's no problem if I print the whole document, but:
If I print the SINGLE page 2, no drawings are printed. Indeed, in this case (and ONLY in this case), the drawings do not show up even in the preview.
It must be a Word 08 problem, since the issue does not arises if I use Word 2004.
Any ideas? Thank you.

PS: The file has been created in Word 03 for windows; I use MAC OS X 10.5 on a MacBook Pro 2.33.

How are you printing it? Print Selection could easily do this, printing
by the page number should not. What kind of drawings/images are these?

Temporary workaround--print the entire thing to PDF and then print page
2 of 2.

I print by page number, as usual. I think it's the easiest and simplest way to do it.
By the way, I'm using an HP laser printer, connected through airport.

I'm looking for a solution, not for a workaround.
As I said, I have no problems if I use Word 2004.
Maybe I should just give up using the 08 version, until all the problems are fixed.
