I have a drop down combo box that you can choose a lender
name. when I choose the lender name I want it to change
the bank # associated with the name. how do i do this?

You do it using VBA code. But the simplest thing is to try using combo
box wizard and choose "filter form" option (or whatever the name - you
will see it immediately).

I can't quite understand what you want to do but it sounds very do-able.
Could you describe your database (tables and field names) and your form
please.
