I am looking to create a diagram in Word 2003 and want to know if it is
possible to have a word or symbol in that diagram that has a drop down table
or listing linked to it that appears when you click on that word or symbol
and is hidden when you click again. I know I could do something similar using
hyperlinks but this would mean moving to another location in the document as
far as I know. What I really would like to have is the drop down table
embedded in the page itself to make it easier for the user.
Obviously web pages offer this type of functionality but is it possible to
do this in good old Word 2003?
Any help much appreciated
Thanks
PS Not sure if this helps but similar to the Excel functionality that allows
you to insert a comment to a cell that appears when you hold the cursor over
that cell but disappears from view when you move off it. I have tried
creating what I want in Excel and pasting it into a Word doc but then lose
the comment functionality
