Drop Down Form Field

Frederick Sakr

All,

I posted a similar message a week ago, but wasn't clear
with exactly what I meant to say. I am wondering whether
there is a way to increase the max-length of a Drop Down
form field? I have been told that the max-len is 50chars,
but I was hoping there could possibly be a way of
increasing this?

Does anybody have any suggestions?

As advised in response to your earlier post, there is no way to increase the
length of what can be entered into a dropdown formfield.

You may however be able to use the technique in the Knowledge Base Article
"How to Create a Combo Box Containing More Than 25 Items" at
https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;198561 but, as
that involves the use of a userform, you may as well start with a userform
rather than a document/template containing formfields.
