Drop down forms in Access

I'm designing a database but I cant figure out how to work the drop down
list? but then after how am I able to wright a list in so you can pick a
name from the menu?!!! Please help!!

Drop down lists are controls on forms; nothing to do with tables!

The column in the table should be the data type you want to store -- a
number or a date or a string, etc.

On your data entry form, you drag a list box or a drop-down combo
control (sorry, no true combos in Access) and either set its properties
or use the wizard if you find it easier.

Always remember that UI design is separate from -- and a lot later than
-- database design.
