Drop down list doesn't work!!!HELP

I created a couple of drop down lists and at the beginning they worked just
fine. I'm ready to publish the form and when I went to preview it , I
realized that when I choose from the drop down list, the selection doesn't
stay. It goes back to the default item. I chaged the default, I re did the
full thing and still doesn't work. Can someone please help?

Ans: 1. first u delete those two drop down list boxes from form.
2. you delete that field values in schema(datasource)
3. Now u take another two drop down lists
4. Add values to that boxes
5. You cant change default (select)
6. If you wish , just select that value and click " set to default ".
7.Now publish what u wanti.e sharepoint and ftp or some else.

Note: some times we take some fields and change that to some other fields
then they complict some times this time u follow above steps.

If you are not getting right output .Reply back , i
will try my level best.

I FORGOT TO ENTER THAT VALUE IN THE DROP DOWN LIST!!!
Silly isn't it?
I was so tired the other day that I couldn't see it, and when I was
following your instructions, I realized what I did wrong.

I am experiencing this same issue, though i have tried the instructions below
over and over. What happens to me is when i go to test the form after
publishing it i make my selction (say the first one on the list) and as soon
as i click to the next drop down box it (the previous box) skips to the last
selection on the list! And this continues on through all of the drop downs.
Could there be another solution or something I am missing??

April -- i had something similar happening. I would choose an object in a
drop down where it displayed the name of the item, but the value equalled the
price (to go into the Unit Price field). I found that anything with the same
value would switch to the last thing in the list with that value. It may be
something like that. I just made the dollar value the same +$0.001 and it
worked. If yours is text, try adding a punctuation mark or something else
that is not obvious but avoids having two values the same. Hope this helps.
