drop down list generates email?

Hello - I am very new to Infopath.....

I have a drop down list and when a name is selected I want an email to be
sent to that person.... any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi,

This is really simple in your dropdown property for value add the
complete email for display value add the name of thew person .

Add a buttton go poperty set action submit , enable submit, add, near
to: you have Fx button click it. Insert field or group and choose your
dropdown.

And that's all!!!
