Drop-down list in a cell

H

Hall

How does one put a drop-down list of set values in a cell? For example, a
table of rows has a particular column where the only valid choices should be
the days of the week, and I want a drop-down list of those values in each
cell of that column.

I don't quite get the VB stuff so is there a simple solution?

Thx

Dear Hall--
You can use something called "Validation" found under the "Data" menu.
There's great information at http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal01.html.

Shouldn't need vba. Select the cells>data>validation>select list from drop
down>in the box below type

Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur, etc
