drop down list

pls suggest me a solution for this scenario:
i have to maintain a list of some data wherein i hv to frequently use some
names to ease the data entry i hv used drop down list with the help of that
im just selecting the list... here my query is is there anything which can
help me as i type the 1st letter or 1st and 2nd letter it should get me the
word

EXAMPLE
india
russia
america
africa
australia

as i type "i" the india, "r" russia from the dropdown list should get
highlighted and be in the cell instead of scrolling down the list.
pls help me out plss

If you are using a Data Valadation drop down try this.

Sort your validation list and at the beginning of the A's enter a single A,
do the same for the beginning of the B's and all the way through to the Z's.

Click in the cell that has the drop down validation and type in the letter
of the list you desire... say you type in an O. DO NOT hit enter... leave
the cell in the edit mode (still selected) and now hit your down arrow.

Should take you to the O which is the top of the O list of selections.
