Drop down selection resulting in automated text?

I am drafting a form letter that will allow me and the other users in my
clinic to have an automated response generated by a drop down selection.
For example..."Please be advised that this laboratory study does/does not
require fasting" Then based on the does/does not drop down selection,
generate the fasting insrtuctions, or leave the the fasting instructions out.
I hope I articulated this clearly, and thanks in advance for your help!
