Drop-down trouble

I had a value list for several fields. When I created a
graph the plot points were not correct so I deleted the
value list for those fields. Now all of the data,
instead of remaining the same, changed to totally
different #'s.
Example:

Originally Now Reads
1.25 15
1.25 15
1.25 15
1.35 17
1.35 17
1.95 29
1.95 29

etc...

Basically what can I do to get the numbers back to how
they originally looked?

I reviewed the article. Thanks for the information. Now
that the value list is gone, there is no way for me to
get the fields to display the original values choosen
through in the lookup? Do I now have to manually key the
values back into each field?

I would create a lookup table and use forms with combo boxes to display the
related values.
