dropdown item - label=""

Hi;

I have a case where a legit value for the label of an item in a
dropdown is the empty string. But Word does not like that. What can I
do to get it to accept it?

Without checking, it probably has a minlength="1" constraint. Will a single
space not do you?

That's what I'm doing - and then calling Trim(). But I figured I
should ask in case it can go directly.
