Dropping pictures onto open Word 98 document

Hi everyone

I used to be able to drop gif pictures onto an open word document. I
had to initialize my hard disk and reinstall Office (not because of
Office, of course) and now when I drop pictures on an open document
nothing happens. Anyone any idea why?

Have you tried installing any latest patches for Word 98, you can also try
the Word 98 for Mac newsgroup for possible answers.

These are the current Mac newsgroups (other listed on the server are
actually pretty much dead):

microsoft.public.mac.office
microsoft.public.mac.office.word

microsoft.public.mac.office.excel
microsoft.public.mac.office,powerpoint
microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage

And yes, you are likely to get a better answer in the mac.office.word group
if Word 98 is not behaving properly, although questions about manipulating
Word itself are usually cross-platform.
