DRW Question....

Hi,

I have a website I have made and I am a bit stuck! The website is a picture
catalogue website with over 2100 pictures. I have an Access backend database
with the 2100 paths and filenames only, and in my images folder in the web I
have all my images in there. All I do using DRW is I dynamically show the
picture - works well!! However....

Due to the database being 2100 records, how do I display the images? if you
take a look at www.myclick.co.uk/stock.asp I have tried to create 50 records
per page video buttons, but I find that the video buttons are unreliable as
they go from Page 1 of 31, to 2 of 31, to 4 of 31, then 2 of 31 etc.... each
time i flick through the pages.

Can someone help me and advise what I should do to make this smarter?

The images are fully optimised - the thumbnails are 3 or 4kb and the bigger
images (which isn't working yet) is around 10kb each.

Thanks,

skc

Kathleen,

I am using FP03 - I take it the link below is for FP2000?

Did you understand my problem - I have a large database and I need to make
my DRW smarter.

Thanks.

Explain "smarter"
You can edit the DBRW text for the page navigation to say whatever you want (or use images)
See http://spiderwebwoman.com/resources/dbrwtipsandtricks.asp#buttons
Or to a multi-column display
See http://home.att.net/~codelibrary/FrontPage/multi_p.htm
But w/ that many records you will still end up w/ pagination
Consider adding categories that group your images and setting up separate pages for each category
