I have the DTPicker date selector in my project on a reporting form. It was
designed at work with Office and Windows XP. I can bring it home and work on
it with my desktop with the same Office XP and Windows XP with no issues.
Now i have a Laptop with Office XP and Windows Vista and it wont recognize
the Active X module. I need the MScomct2.ocx and have downloaded it from
microsoft website and also saved it into the windows system 32 folder. Then
when i go into register it through access it says that i dont have the
authority to do it and that i need to use another program to register that
Active X. Is this a security setting in Windows or on the computer that i
need to change or how do i get access to recognize that control. My whole
program is based around that and i dont want ot have to change it.
