DTPicker Control Property Changed

I have designed an appointments form that takes the appointment details and enters them into a SQL database. I also want the form to update the user’s calendar within outlook. I have used two DTPicker controls for the start and end dates and 2 hidden textboxes that are linked to the start and end fields. The problem is that I can't seem to program the custom property changed event of the dtpicker controls. I wrote some code in the Iem_send event to update the start and end fields but this doesn't seem to work
