Dual boot HTML issue

Rodger

I have a dual boot XP/Vista machine. I have outlook 2003 setup as the email
on both sides of the machine with a common pst file on seperate drive. XP and
Vista can't see each other or interact with each other. On the XP side I can
recieve HTML emails. but when I'm on the Vista side the HTML emails come in
with all the header info showing, line breaks etc etc. It's weird. I even
took the step of using the settings wizard to copy and restore the settings
from the XP side, and restoring them to the Vista side which didn't help.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Rodger

I’m looking for a solution to a problem. I have dual book system XP/Vista
which I have Outlook 2003 installed on both sides with a common mail box on
separate drive. When I receive an html email in the Vista side it comes up
with the entire header info etc showing example below. But on the XP the
email is fine. I’ve found a discussion group message that I think describes
what is happening but no solution was offered. “I am having this EXACT same
problem. Outlook 2003 on Vista, when receiving emails which were sent using
the BCC field (so "undisclosed-recipients" displays in the To: field), the
raw email is displayed complete with headers and MIME encoded attachments.
This has nothing to do with email scanners, as the Vista machine encountering
this problem is running Sophos anti-virus only, and is not performing and
email scanning/filtering. The exact same email that was sent BCC'd will
display fine on Outlook 2003 running on Windows XP - so it's not an issue
with the formatting of the email from the sender, but rather something to do
with Vista screwing up Outlook 2003. I've found another thread with others
encountering this exact same problem.
http://www.zimbra.com/forums/administrators/8407-vista-outlook-2003-showing-mail-source.html
Is there some way to report this to Microsoft and get a hotfix made ? It's
really becoming a painâ€

Now I’m not sure about the To and BCC fields of the email I’m receiving but
it’s probably the same thing because it’s a mass mail from my local DOT. Here
is a copy of the email I’m receiving.
