Dual Install of Office 97 and Office 2000

Hello,

I have fully installed Office 97 Pro to a Windows 2000
PC. I then fully installed Office 2000 Pro to the same
machine but a different directory.

When I launch Word 97, everything works fine. But when I
then close Word 97 and launch Word 2000 the installer
fires up for a short period of time. Once the installer
is done it works just fine.

What steps do I need to take to stop the installer from
launching? Or is it always just going to happen?

Hi, Tony,

It's probably just going to happen. This is a known issue with running
multiple versions of Word.
