Dual Monitors - #1 with powerpoint, #2 with another program

I have a powerpoint presentation set up to run on monitor #2. While the
presentation is running in the waiting room, I would like to use to computer
at the front desk to run other programs, using monitor #1.

Every time I start using the other programs on monitor#1, the powerpoint
presentation stops, until we stop using the other program, and highlight
POWERPOINT on the taskbar.

Is there a way to get powerpoint to work, non-stop, while using other
programs on monitor #1?

That seems to work.
But $100.00 that's a little steep!!!
