Dual Processors

this is something your OS will have to provide, access has no direct access
to the kernel

I think all NT versions have the capability to handle 2 processors

No, but then again any computer with 750MHz or more is equivalent of a 10
million dollar Cyber 205 super computer from the early 1980's

Ms-access does have some threading, and thus perhaps some parallel
processing might speed things up.

At the OS level, those threads might get some benefit of parallel
processing.

However, the processing ability of ms-access IS NEVER a problem these days.
The speed of the network, and the disk drive are now far greater issues then
the processor. Ms-access can easily execute 20 million instructions per
second a given machine today. However, the real problem is waiting for disk
drive, and waiting for network..that is the bottle neck.

Simply put, throwing more processing at access application will do absolute
nothing to help performance these days.

So, even if ms-access could use a duel processor...it would not help one
bit...
