Due dates showing in listing as None when date is assigned

Hi, I have Windows 2000 and am using the outlook 2003 student edition. When
setting up a new task after specifying all information and saving the task,
the task list shows the new one created but lists the due date as NONE. But
if you open it back up the due date is there? Any idea's on why it is
listing the due date as none?
