Duel monitors

We have designed a database in access 97, and one of our users is using it
on a dual screen monitor system, the problem we are finding is if he has the
database open on the second monitor all the menu, dropdowns are been
displayed on the primary monitor, dose and one know how to fix this
problem....

Sounds like a fault with the display drivers.

No problem here using A97 on either of two monitors.
GeForce FX 5200 card with nVidia version 45.23 drivers.

I'd agree with Allen. I just tried it myself with no problems.

Enjoying those bit LCDs, are you Tony?

I absolutely love my 19" screen flipped 90 degrees to portrait so I can see
an entire page of code at one time, while the form and its controls are
still visible on the other monitor in landscape as the user will experience
the application.

Actually these are glass monitors I've had for several years now.

Now that's exactly the environment I've been waiting for for a while
now. Forms and reports on the left hand monitor and code in portrait
on the right hand monitor.

And the video card supports that quite nicely? Or do you have to load
up a utility from the LCD monitor vendor?

GeForce FX 5200 drives support this natively.
Tested under both Win2000 and WinXP.
Couldn't move back.

Ah, and given in A2000 and newer the VBA editor is in it's own window
this becomes much easier. Reckon I'll have to consider upgrading
soon. <smile>
