dummy factor 1000

Sorry for asking a very silly question. I have the problem that a figure I
put in a normal Excel sheet automatically is dived by 1000. S o I put in 19
and it become 0.019. There is no formula in the field. This must be
something very basal, but I can't figure it out. It is in multiple but not
all every row and column.
Help! And thanks in advance.

Deselect Fixed decimal check box in menu Tools->Options, Edit tab

Tools/Options/Edit. Uncheck the Fixed decimal checkbox.
