Hi,
I am running Windows XP Pro on a laptop. I had a version
of Office 2000 Professional that was the "college
student" version. When I try to apply updates, it is
looking for an installation file that is to be on the
original Office 2000 profession full version disk. The
student version has a different installation file, so the
update fails. I purchased a copy of Office XP standard
edition and replaced the "Student" 2000 version with the
newer Office XP. Now, where are those unistalled office
updates located within windows so I can remove them
before trying to update my Office XP.
Thank you
Mike Cole
