Hi,
I have a pop account that has it's own web-based mail area
as well..
I have configured Outlook to download mail but leave a
copy on the server then delete after 10 days...
However when I get more than 18 messages in my mailbox
Outlook starts to download duplicate copies of the first
and last mail in the mailbox.. after 18 messages it
downloads random messages again and again, every send and
receive it downloads the same mail. Like it's a new mail,
so I keep coming back and finding my inbox has 100's of
mail in, but most of them are duplicate!
I am using Windows 200 Pro and Office Xp (All serice packs
installed) I have re-installed my whole machine and even
tried it with Windows Xp and Office Xp on another machine.
But still the same.
It's nothing to do with rules etc.. this is something to
do with the marking of mail on the server as to whether
it's been downloaded or not.
I would appreciate some help as it's becoming impossibale
to find my mail.
I have tried my host (mail) and they said they have tried
it but can't replicate it so they don't want to do
anything to help!
I have tried setting up Oulook Express and the problem
doesn't happen so it's something to do with Office XP I
believe!
