duplex printing excel charts

Mona

I have a workbook with several charts on worksheets. I would like to print
chart1 and chart2 on a single paper. My printer supports duplex printing. I
select the 2 worksheets and print using duplex. I am getting 2 pieces of
paper instead of 1. What am I doing wrong? thanks

Mona,

Worksheets always print on separate pages. By "chart," I presume you mean a chart (graph)
in Excel-speak, i.e.: a column chart, line chart, etc. You could copy/paste your charts
into another single sheet with a page break between them, then print that sheet. Or just
put them in one sheet, if that suits your needs (Cut/Paste one to the sheet of the other).
You can adjust the chart sizes, even change them as needed for printing -- the original
charts on the original sheets will be unaffected. When you copy/paste the charts, they will
remain linked to the original cells.

Whether your printer will correctly print them duplex remains another question. I generally
save time by getting angry first, before tackling a printer! :)
