Duplex Printing in Word

I

Ian Morrin

Hi,

I am trying to print a word doc double sided, every time I ask it to print
it treats each of the two pages as independent docs even though they are
saved in the same Doc, I get a message saying 'Printing page 1' then
'Printing page 1' again.... Treating page 2 as page 1... All very confusing.

I even tried exporting the doc to a PDF but instead of putting both pages in
the same PDF it created 2 docs??

Any one got any ideas what has happened to the word doc??

Thanks

Ian

Hi Ian:

I would say that you have a section break between the two pages.

Depending on the properties of that section break, Word may send the
document as two separate jobs.

To do double-sided printing, you should use only one section break for the
part you want printed double-sided, and set it to have a gutter margin on
one side.

Cheers
