I am trying to figure out how to duplex print with my HP 4100DTN at work. I don't see the option in the properties box. Please tell me how to do this.

If your printer is not designed for duplex printer or the printer driver
does not support duplex printing, you need to print manually.
In Word 2003 go to File, Print. On the left bottom of the print dialog you
should find Print with a drop down list. The choices are All, Even and Odd.
First print the odd pages. Then collate or sort the printed pages so that
page 2 prints on the back on page one. Then print the even pages.

This is not a MS Office issue. It's a hardware and driver setup issue. It
needs to be "installed" under "Device settings". Please read the
documentation that was provided with the printer.
