Duplicate a Text Box

I find that I can no longer duplicate a text box using MS Word 2004 for
Mac (student/teacher edition).

I used to be able to "command-D" on the border of a text box and
immediately get a nice little duplicate.

Is that option no longer available on this version of Word?
