Duplicate Calendar Events

I Need Help!!
I just installed the recent MAC OS X software update on my MacBook. When I
opened Entourage, the "Conflict" window opened and said that I had 750
calendar conflicts. I choose to use the Entourage as the default. When I
looked at my calendar in Entourage, all of my events were duplicated. When
I looked at the Entourage folder in iCal there were only single events. How
do I delete the duplicate events in Entourage? I have not synced the
calendar with my PDA yet. Is there some way to sync and have the PDA copy
over the MacBook?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

To get rid of duplicates use one of the scripts to remove duplicates.

I have the same problem as Mark above. I installed Leopard onto my MacBook Pro. All of my calendar events are duplicated or even repeated up to 6 times. I've tried to manually delete these, but this will take forever. The script from the link above, didn't seem to work, or I'm not sure how to run a script. I loaded it where they asked and ran it, but how can you tell when its done. Do you need to restart the computer after? is there any other way other than this script?

Some of the scripts take a very long time. You should get a window
indicating it was finished. Which script did you use?

I am having the same problem, especially with all day events (i.e. holidays, birthdays, etc.). The recurring events are fine after deleting one because I can delete the whole series, but holidays are a different matter. My main question is why does this happen and how to prevent it. I have deleted the duplicates, but they keep coming back.

Only a few of the calendar items with times duplicate and are usually scheduled 30-60 minutes after the original event.

I have hundreds of duplicate items - Entourage/iCal and PDA - how can I delete them? One deletion at a time would take days. I'd like Entourage as the main calendar and the Sync program says set up the relationship there but the only relationships possible are with iCal and that's what caused all the duplicates. I have up to 80 duplicates of each event. Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried these solutions, and the tools do nothing: I still have duplicate calendar entries.

Plus, for added fun, I can't delete any entry, because they will just come back. And when someone updates a meeting, it comes in as a new meeting, not an update to the existing one. And it's all down to Entourage instead of Outlook. And my calendar is this way permanently, now: I have stopped using it, but my calendar has been permanently affected.

I have to say that Entourage is, quite simply, a nightmare. It has made my calendar unusable. IT is having to delete my Exchange account and create a new one, because they can't fix the "unkillable" meetings in my calendar. And having brought a Mac app into this PC shop I'm in, they're not really going to go through any hoops to make Entourage work, if there's something there that has to be done. Entourage should just silently work exactly as Outlook does, and if it doesn't, it's irredeemably broken until it does.

It was the only reason I updated Office, to get Entourage/Exchange/iCal integration, and it's the most broken, data-ruining feature. Not at all happy, that's me.
