Duplicate contacts

hello !

When synchronizing my contacts between my notebook and my desktop in importing contacts, I am asked whether to duplicate the contacts or to modify the existing ones. OK, but is there a way to display them side to side to be able to decide which one is the one to be kept (most frequently the freshest one) ? Is there somewhere a way to display as a property the date of the latest modification of a contact ? I haven't been able to find it in the help, tutorial, FAQ, ... Thks for your help !

That would be a question for the manufacturers of your synchronization
software, not us.

Wait. Are you even using synch software?
If not, then you need to specify the method you are using for this
"synchronization."
You should not be importing as part of a synchronization process.

Sorry, I'm not using any synch software! In fact, I usually add new data on my notebook, and I then import the contacts to the desktop. But there are exceptions to this rule, and in these cases, having a way to know which one is the freshest one or to be able to compare them would help me a lot ! Too bad for me if such a feature doesn't exist ! Thks, Rgds

Importing is one of the worst ways to synch Outlook installations.
Look for better alternatives here:
