Duplicate Contacts

After upgrading Outlook 2000 to version 2002, contact info
for one contact shows up as duplicate when you select Show
Names in a new message. The fax #, email address, business
# all list seperatly. So the name is listed 3 times with
different information.

The user also has a Blackberry wireless device that he
gets his email on and sychronizes it with his desktop.

Do you have any Q articles that will help me solve this
duplicate contacts problem?

These are not duplicates. Every version of the Outlook Address Book has
shown all electronic addresses intentionally and by design. That behavior
cannot be changed. The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to
store them in a different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with
an alpha character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
