duplicate data

Hello.

I have built an attendance database to track absent,
lates, and left earlies, for my employees.

I am displaying data on a continuous form. The table is
storing data just fine. there are 3 keys to avoid
duplicates. employeeID, Absenttype & date. This means
that an employee can't be entered in as absent multiple
times in one day.

However, just today. There is a duplicate being displayed
on the continous form. when I modify the absent type on
the form, it changes for both records. WHen I check the
table. there is only one record there.

Any one have any ideas or have seen this glitch before?

Can you post the SQL view of the query feeding the form? Also, do you have
any code in the form that will dynamically set the Default option for its
controls? If so, are you seeing a second record or are you seeing the New
Record line that has defaults already entered that appear to be the same as
the record you are looking at?
