Duplicate discs in package and main installation disc is missing!

Hi

Just wondered if Microsoft has made a mistake or if my pack was tampered
with...

I recently bought MS Office XP upgrade special edition.

The first wallet which is supposed to contain the main office installation
CD and the Media content CD actually contains two identical "media content"
CD's. The main CD with all the office apps is not in the pack!

So I wondered if there is any record of this sort of mistake happening
during the final packing of the product.

Thanks for any info.

Where did you buy it from and what is the Office XP Upgrade Special Edition?

Hi Milly

Thanks for replying.

The Special Edition was a limited run of Office XP supplied in a special
pack complete with an Intellipoint Exporer Optical mouse.

At the risk of getting laughed out of court.... I bought this from a seller
on eBay. He has 100% + feedback and as far as I can tell he has sold
numerous quantities of the same product as well as other products without
any problems.

If MS did ever send out a faulty batch with missing or duplicate discs then
that is
not the sellers fault.

The seller has now sold out of these and as its no longer produced he cannot
replace it.

So would MS replace the duplicate disc with one thats supposed to be there ?
I have all my certificates and CD keys.

Or would MS just laugh as soon as I mention eBay?
