I am running Office Outlook 2003 in Windows XP, SP2. When I do the
send/receive to retrieve mail from my POP3 server messages that I downloaded
long ago are being downloaded again. I have reinstalled Outlook, run the
inbox repair utility scanpst.exe, and nothing is working. I've killed nearly
a day trying to fix this and most of my hair is now strewn around my office
from fits of pulling it out.
One thing i have done that may have changed the way my local inbox looks to
the server is to create a number of rules to route messages into some new
folders. That said, even emails that have not been rerouted in this manner
are being downloaded again. ALL of the email in on my server are downloading
a second time.
Does anyone know what I can do here. I do leave dupes on the server because
I need access to these emails from more than one computer.
Do I check back for a response, or will I get an e-mail from someone.
Thanks in advance.
