Duplicate emails received

Some members of my organization are sporadically receiving duplicate emails
from one sender within the organization. We are running Exchange 2003 and our
users have Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003. As an example, I have not had the
issue with this user before today. I have Outlook 2003. She sent me a new
email which I received one of. I replied to her. When she replied back to me,
I received duplicate replies from her. She mentioned she did not do anything
differently. She just hit reply, composed the message and send. Does anyone
have any idea why this may be happening? We do not know if users outside the
organization are receiving duplicate emails. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
