Duplicate emails

Each email I receive, I get two copies.
Why?
How to I stop getting two copies?

Obviously I do not know the answer, or I would not have posted the questions.
If you want to be helpful, point me in the direction of the answer.

Multi posting to several groups is not helpfull to anyone, least of all
those trying to help
