Duplicate entries appearing in shared calendar

My Outlook is the host for my company's main calendar.
Most of the time things work just fine, however, we have
instances where an appointment (that just effects 1
individual) will appear three or more times. These
duplicate appointments show the EXACT same date and time
for being modified. They are not being entered seperately
but the do show up multiple times. Any suggestions.
