Duplicate entries in Entourage Calender and Address Book

I'm experiencing problems every time there is an OS update. When the update is implemented, any "all day events" on my Entourage Calendar, are duplicated. And many contacts in Entourage now conflict with my Mac Address book. This only occurs when I have a Mac OS update. I am using Entourage 2004 (vs 11.3.6). Is there a setting that I have enabled that is causing this? This is maddening, especially on events that are re-occurring annually.

This is unfortunately not new (and I am surprised you never saw it
before). At this point there is unfortunately no workaround.

For your information, in 2004, it's not nearly as bad as in 2008.
What I do for events is that I always assign them a category. SInce
categories never sync, it helps me figure out which events are
duplicates and which are not.
All you have to do then is to create a custom view for all your events,
sort by category and trash all the ones without a category once in a
while.
Not toooooo bad. It would require that you fix the mess first and then
assign a category to all events though,

I am running Entourage 2004. Well I just upgraded to OS 10.5.2 and Entourage 11.4. I don't get dupes in the Entourage Addresses but I do in the Calendar. I get sync conflicts that ask whether I want them resolved with Entourage or Calendar. Doesn't make any difference which I choose, the duplicates appear. I delete the duplicates as they have no category. They come back. Usually about 1400 of them! The Sync Services setting I have says to replace everything with Entourage. Is it really supposed to be this way? Worked great before the two upgrades this morning. No duplicates at all.

Thanks. I worked that out later but I can't get the Entourage events into iCal. In iCal I have both made and not made iCal calenders. Nothing appears. Well it worked with 10.5.1 and Extourage 11.3.?? but not iwth 10.5.2 and 11.4. Real problem as it has made the Calendar function on my iPod Touch just useless. Addresses are fine.

Are you sure the calendars don't make it to the iPod?? For a lot of
people, it's a problem with iCal not displaying the calendar, but the
calendar is actually there.
Someone mentioned that if you disable the Birthday calendar in iCal, the
Entoruage calendar eventually appears there again,

Thank you very much. I have turned on Birthdays and the calendar I had in Entourage synced to my iPod Touch. However I had tried this with Entourage 11.4 much earlier today and had no luck. I replaced the Entourage application file with the old version 11.3.6. At least the calendars get to the iPod now. They didn't before. Now to see if the Entourage Calendar gets created in iCal.
