Duplicate Entries

When I choose "Contacts" as my address book when tying to address an email,
quite a few of my contacts come up multiple times. However, if you look
within Contacts, there are no duplicates. After trying to export the
Contacts in various formats, none of the exported files contacted
duplicates. Where are these duplicates coming from and how do I get rid of
them?

What makes you think they are duplicates? Each electronic address is listed
separately in the Outlook Address Book. Post your Outlook version and the
evidence that you are seeing duplicate listings. Hint: if you are using
Outlook 2002, use the horizontal scroll bar to examine each listing to see
address it is referencing.

I have the same problem and I have not found a way to get
the rid of the duplicates. I a person has a e-mail
address and a cell phone or pager number that will show up
in the contact list. This showed up when I transfered the
address book to my new computer with Office 2002.

Did you have a question or did you not understand what I posted? Each
electronic address is listed separately in the Outlook Address Book.
