One my client's machines is running Win XP & Office Pro 2000, both with all
updates, a number of Outlook add-ons from MS download site, and automatic
junk and filters operating (plus usual anti-virus, firewalls, and
anti-spyware.).
There is only one email acct, pop3 from own remote ISP server.
There is only one account under accounts.
Recently it started double simultaneous downloading emails to inbox and
showing 2 envelopes in taskbar. [Assuming only 1 (duplicate) email is
downloaded] When one of the duplicate new emails becomes "read", then one of
the tasbar envelopes disappears. When the second is "read" the other envelope
disappears.
Can't figure this one out. Thanks for your help.
