Duplicate Folders and Files

Greetings,

With FP 2003, I tried to publish to my new host's server, I believe for the
first time directly, instead of to the mounting server. Duplicate folders
and files started appearing on the remote web site as presented in FP.

On the internet, the site presented with images only partially loaded and
the subpages would not link.

So I switched the DNS name server back to my old host and the site came back
up in its previous form (www.b-v-i.com).

Strangely, as I load FP for publishing, the remote site shows the duplicate
folders and files.

I have been able to publish the site successfully with changes to the
mounting server at http://b-v-icom.instaccount.net (which does not show any
duplicates).

Any suggestions?

John

That was a really well worded and concise question!
Could you state:
How do you mean "mounting server"?
How are you publishing?
How is it that you're "seeing" these duplicate folders and what do they look
like?

The site is published to what I call the new host's "mounting server"
(http://b-v-icom.instaccount.net) until DNS propagation is done, then the
site can be published to its usual URL (www.b-v-i.com)
How are you publishing? With FP 2003, using the Publish command.
How is it that you're "seeing" these duplicate folders and what do they look
like? The dual panel presented in FP 2003 shows a list of folders for the
local and remote web sites under the "Folder Contents" view.
