I have recently implemented Outlook 2003 on a Win XP Pro machine. I have six
separate POP3 accounts and do an auto dowload every 45 minutes, leaving the
messages on the server unless they are deleted from the Deleted folder. This
is so that each account can also be retrieved on separate computers within
our organisation by the relevant personnel.
If Outlook is kept open then it retrieves the messages correctly, without
duplicating them. I have message rules to sort them into folders within the
Personal folder hierarchy. However if I shut down Outlook and then reopen it,
it downloads all messages from the servers for each account.
How can I correct this behaviour?
