duplicate messages in outlook 2007?

I recently opened up my outlook 2007, and found that every email had been
duplicated and is now in email inbox as unread.

I wouldn't like to go through my inbox clicking delete 250 times. Is there
any otherway of getting rid of these duplicated messages?

There are third party tools, www.slipstick.com for a selection

Maybe you have the option to leave mail on the server set up, and theres a
problem at your ISP end
