Duplicate notebooks within one computer

SAR

I am not sure what I did to create a second copy of my notebook within one
computer but both keep in sync. How do I delete one copy? How do I keep 2
computers in sync using a memory card--not on a LAN. I do have Sprint WAN on
one compter and Verizon WAN on the other.

Aloha SAR,

If you right-click each of the duplicate notebooks and choose "Properties"
do they each have the same location? If so, just right-click and Close one
of them. If not, note the location of the one you want to delete, close
it, then go to Windows Explorer and delete the notebook folder from that
location.

As for the memory card, just place the notebook you want to share on that
memory card.

You can open the same Notebook on multiple machines.

So, to keep 2 computers in sync, put the master copy of the Notebook at a
location accessible by both computers, consistently or not, and open the
Notebooks on both computers pointing to the master location.

Even if one machine cannot access the location at some point, when it
reconnects, The Notebook will sync up to the master copy automatically if
OneNote is open.

This is one of the coolest things about OneNote.
