Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 - SP3
Installed on a Windows Vista Ultimate system
Problem: In Folders List view, there appears two sets of Personal Folders with
the same name. The uppermost Personal Folders can be accessed normally
(Calendar, Contacts, Inbox etc.)
The second Personal Folders set is not accessible and cannot be deleted.
Clicking on it produces an error dialoge box: "The set of Folders could not
be oppened"
Invoking HELP displays:

This error usually appears if the OST or PST file you are using is:
*Unavailable
*Protected with file permissions
*On a share on a server and the network is down
*Corrupt
To correct this problem, store the OST or PST file on the local computer.
You may also want to run the scanost.exe and scanpst.exe tools to verify
file integrity.
More information about this error message online.
*The Microsoft site offers no solution to this error: ID: 10056

The Folder cannot be accessed, let alone using the scanpst tool.
File Properties is greyed out.
The strange thing is that under Data File Management, only the "working"
Personal Folders set is visible.
Have tried:
1. moving the pst files to a different location.
2.The Office Detect & Repair Tool under Help
3.Uninstalled Microsoft Office 2003 and reinstalled it again
4.Removing the "bad" Personal Folders in Safe Mode
5.Did a Google search for a solution.
Now I need a helping hand please.
